This is another image that was taken on a trip I was guiding the summer of 2009 with Kim Emerson. We easily paddled 12+ km in only a few short hours, but the time & effort spent was well worth it & very rewarding - What an incredible day! We spotted 5 moose that day. Photographed 3 Bulls, 2 of them in the same location & watched from a distance a cow & calf. Along with a plethora of waterfowl, reptiles & amazing Algonquin Park landscape, we spotted photographed a Sand Hill Crane with young walking through the tall grasses of the creek we were paddling – at the time, a rarity to see in the Park.
All in all a very successful day & I can’t wait to get back!
